With much weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth the members of the Club said goodbye to their Tutor Clive Wilson during December 2022.   Clive did a remarkable job helping turners from absolute beginners to experienced turners.   Everyone benefitted from his knowledge and guidance.   We enjoyed his weekly newsletters, and his in-depth analysis of the latest Chiefs game.

Tutors Tidings were produced by Clive over a period of 9 years.   In order to help turners locate particular topics of interest, the TTs have been organised into several categories, including:

Note that during the 2020 Covid-19 lockdown our Workshop was closed.

However, several of our members have their own lathe at home, and had continued to practise their craft during this lockdown period. They submitted photos of their turnings for inclusion in a special series of bulletins, called the Lockdown Express. These bulletins are identified with the prefix LEnn (nn = 01 thru 17). The 2020 TTs restarted publication with TT 24.
